Building off of the framework of last year's brand refresh, we're hard at work developing the new design direction for the 2018 Big Day of Giving. The BDOG team has given us the thumbs up for more color, more playfulness and more bold statements for this year. The first wave of billboards are going up around the greater Sacramento area, followed by the initial social media campaigning. Lots more print & digital to come!
We're proud to be working with the amazing women at the We Said Enough campaign. Their efforts to build awareness, and create effective policy & tools around ending rampant sexual misconduct in the political world has garnered wide-spread praise and media attention, and landed co-founder Adama Iwu on the cover of Time Magazine's Person of the Year issue. We hit the ground running with the basics of a brand identity package and initial website to get the project launched, lots more in the works!
Fun first shoot with the Ascot Motorsports team, photographer Sam Muller and speedway champ Broc Nicol for a new line of Dickies workwear, Dickies Moto, coming Spring 2018. Shot in studio and at various locations in Pasadena, California. Shooting more studio and some action shots around Southern California in the weeks to come, look for lots more in the near future.
Wrapping up a project with the Downtown Sacramento Partnership that will rolling (literally) through downtown in the next month or so. Finalizing some additional collateral that will be popping up in print and on the street as well. Keep an eye out!
We've been working with a new family of heritage brands based off of vintage automotive racing. Here's a sneak peak at the logo redesign and revised palette for the Ascot Motorsports brand, an offshoot of the legendary dirt racetrack in Gardena, CA. Redrawn from one of the original hand-painted signs from the early days of the track, retooled for a new era. Lots more to come in the new year.
We've been hard at work on the first phase of a rebrand of Sacramento's Big Day of Giving and its parent company GivingEdge. First order of business was creating an interlocking set of brand identity parts to debut in the event's fourth big year. Watch as these elements take shape in the physical and digital worlds in early 2017 as we ramp up for the big event.
We've been working on the launch of the Andretti Optics brand over the last few months, creating advertising and marketing materials and strategy for print & digital. Got a shot of their first billboard going up this week in West Hollywood over Beverly & La Cienaga. Keep an eye out for more in the near future.
Next week is the big release of an amazing new project we've been working on and we couldn't be more excited. We've got screen-printers, fire-branders and all sorts of specialty off-set printers hard at work finishing up the pieces for the big debut, tune in next week for more!
We're San Francisco at Essence Printing today press checking the first wave of print materials for a massive rebrand of a 25+ year industry leader. Just a teaser on the light table, we'll have tons more print and digital work to show with the big reveal in the next month.
Always great to get a care package from our client Lee Jeans in Kanas City, MO. This time we received some final print samples of a few look books we designed for the Lee 101 line, and a few pairs of jeans from the 2015 line!
